- Comment on Valid Theory: Scientists Are Actually Wizards 1 week ago:
Clarke’s three laws, referring to Arthur C. Clarke.
The laws are:
- When a distinguished but elderly scientist states that something is possible, he is almost certainly right. When he states that something is impossible, he is very probably wrong.
- The only way of discovering the limits of the possible is to venture a little way past them into the impossible.
- Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.

- Comment on Shitty stores that penalise you for not having their store card 5 weeks ago:
The card means my shop is cheaper than it otherwise would be and I’m gaining points each time I use it.
Card means that the price is what it could be anyway, but they decide to give it only to the customers who have the card.
Points are also just mark up in general prices that they could have given you anyway, but hide it as a “reward for points”
- Comment on Chat, is this true? Can cybercriminals really just tick an "I agree" box and do a cybercrime? I'm literally shaking and crying rn 5 weeks ago:
I can just swing a hammer and commit a felony.
I can just throw a match and commit an arsony.
I can just “speak convincingly to the secretary” and commit a cybercrime.
I can “just take this beer over here” and commit a theft.
Not all crime is complicated.
