  Flint is in the metro Detroit are but the water I was talking about was the riverfront and the islands just off the coast.

  Back to food the Detroit metro is right up there everything from great sliders, BBQ, Middle Eastern, Eastern Europe. If a food exists you’re going to find a pretty great representation there.

  Then there’s the museums, the car culture, Motown, and now tech. Lots if shade has been thrown at Detroit but in 2026 if I was into tech or engineering it would be my first stop. Major sports teams, great jobs, the water, cool art deco architecture that all seems pretty great to me.

  I think I agree with Tennessee Williams on NOLA that’s a great town, the food there is worth almost any distance flight.

  Remember the point of this is American cities not US cities so we need to account for Canada, central, and south American cities.

  When this was posted yesterday I put Miami at number four but there are lots of large vibrant cities in America.

  I think I’d probably put Toronto in place of Chicago, I haven’t been in south or Mexico City so I’m not much use there

  My 2019 Golf weighs 2800 pounds according to the States of Florida, it weighs 3240 pounds on the scale at the drag strip.

  A '94 caprice weighs about 4000 pounds and it is a BoF car.

  For reference in 1996 I was hit in my 88 Jetta by an 83 Caprice classic stationwagon, she was going 55 I was doing 45 and she hit me head on. I could open the door to my car she had to be cut out.

  My parents wrote both VW in Germany and VW USA thanking them for building a good car and got a shit ton of swag

  There should be two filters, the sock on the fuel sending unit in the tank, and a real filter between the tank and the engine. If your pump and sock are 30 years old its time to get a loaded sending unit from AutoZone
