I really wouldn’t shame anyone for buying premium, because even if Google is the antichrist, YT is probably the website whose services I use more than any other. On the other hand though, there’s really nothing hard about adblocking. It’s maybe a single 30 second block out of one day and carries over anywhere you go online.
No shame in paying for the things you use, even if you are funding Google. But when you say messing around with blockers. Are you talking about installing a single extension?
I assume you use that extension anyway because its the only way the internet is even remotely usable
I think it’s much more effective to support them by giving 5 dollars to their Patreon or buy an item of their merch. (assuming they have either) from what I’ve heard, ad revenue is next to nothing.

Because I don’t like YouTube having my bank info, and being able to tie all my viewing habits to me as a person.
