I prefer brisco country Junior, but they’re barely the same genre
- Comment on After years of historical 4X games, Endless Legend 2 is a much-needed flight of fantasy for the genre 1 week ago:
I wish warlock, “master of the arcane” and it’s sequel had done better, they were the perfect balance been civ and age of wonders, with twice the gameplay speed of either
- Comment on Amazon's Tomb Raider series reportedly 'dead' after tens of millions in development costs resulted in no script 1 week ago:
The great thing about comic book and videogame “inspired” movies if they come pre-written. This doesn’t sound like they were ever serious about making a series off the IP, I suspect a gacha game will be released from Amazon games.
- Comment on The Triple-i Initiative 2025 - Indie games for 2025 1 week ago:
It definitely had more games! Was very satisfied when the previews ended where they did, would’ve been amazing to have more but it was already so much,
Absolutely 10/10 protection, added a fair number of games to my wishlist, and even bought a couple. And It was fun trying to guess what games were before their titles came up.
Is that deep rock galactic going to be another free content update? At first I thought they were finally integrating what they learned from deep rock galactic survivors (and that would explain why they’ve never thought too long on multiplayer), but that has to be way too much for just a content update, right? Jeez coffee stain continues to knock it out of the park.

Wasn’t this like 40 minutes last year? Damn I’m excited to watch this (especially if it’s like last year’s) but that’s quite a time commitment, maybe over the next couple days.
I think I added half the games from last year to my steam wishlist/follow, unfortunately quite a few are still in development.
- Comment on Is there any show you've watched that you'd like to have seen a spin-off of some sort? Either a prequel, sequel, or just a side-story focusing on a specific character. 2 weeks ago:
Nope, never,
Never ever ever
Not crabman, not Malcolm Reynolds, definitely not Amazon’s the tick.
I’m not ever going to let them hurt me again.

Whinging eh? I read that similar to whinching or winging though I know you mean whining. If we’re tossing in question marks?

Still no PvE,
Still no reason to have shut down the original
- Comment on I watched Arrival (2016), there was a lot more to it than I was expecting 2 months ago:
Definitely a top 20 in my book, one of my wife’s top 5. I also love the book, it’s very short story, you can probably read it in the time it’d take to watch the movie (I’m a slow reader and did it in a few hours), it doesn’t add too much, but it’s a bit of interesting mathematical philosophy which I found quite endearing.

Very happy to see my notion shared on this platform.
“But the science”
Miss me with that bullshit, you don’t get to tote how “scientifically accurate” something is in the first half (it wasn’t) and then get time travel/self recurrence in the second half.
It was just a bad movie with high production value, if I want that I’ll watch moonfall.

If they were tracking what I was buying from the company I wouldn’t give a rats ass, in fact I’m quite sure that information is readily available to them.
I’m not a privacy nut, I’m usually poking fun at privacy first people, but I don’t put any app on my phone that I didn’t pay for, or that doesn’t have code I can’t understand (I can’t understand code at all, but there’s a “flashlight widget 'app '” that’s like 50 lines long.

Don’t lower prices for the people who you provide a service to, funnel that money to the shareholders! Wait there isn’t enough money to keep it flowing into the share holders… Raise the prices to those you’re providing service to!
Loop ad infinitum

I haven’t played wordle since they put the “streak tracker” behind a “paywall”, fuck you all that data is shit you’re keeping from me without my consent anyways, now you want me to pay you for the privilege?
I’m not a huge privacy guy, but when you ask me to pay for the data I provide you, you can get bent.
- Comment on If Trump wins the election thru fraud how can the democrats refute it and prove they won? Or will it just be like another Jan 6 and four years of whining like Trump? 5 months ago:
You don’t remember the alternative delegates they attempted to send last time? That’s fraud, and there’s no reason they won’t try it again this time
- Comment on If Trump wins the election thru fraud how can the democrats refute it and prove they won? Or will it just be like another Jan 6 and four years of whining like Trump? 5 months ago:
You have not heard of the “contested electors” delegates his party attempted to send in place of the actual delegates last time around?

Can’t wait to see where they go next with this franchise!
I was hesitant to see the first (remake) one, but they did it so well I saw the next one without any hesitation. It was about 85% as good as the first, but that’s more than enough to get me excited for the 3rd!
