Not sure I follow… A steam frame isn’t a phone. It can’t make or receive phone calls
- Comment on And what car did you learn in? 4 weeks ago:
I’m learning to manually change gears for my first time in my 30s, but on a bike.
Agreed, it is incredibly humbling. I’ve been driving for over half my life, and now I’m struggling to operate a vehicle all over again.
- Comment on Nearly 90% of Windows Games now run on Linux, latest data shows — as Windows 10 dies, gaming on Linux is more viable than ever 4 weeks ago:
One of the most frequently suggested beginner distros is Linux mint. It’s great, it’s stable, it’s what I use and while it’s not exactly cutting edge, or necessary the prettiest distro, it’s great for beginners and will feel pretty familiar coming from windows.
Pop_os! And bazzite are more “gaming focused” if that’s more your style, but I’ve never had an issue gaming with Linux mint.
Ultimately, it doesn’t really matter terribly much. Pick one, install it to a new drive and try it out. If you don’t like it, pick another one.

Maybe 4 hours. LSD will last maybe 8 hours so perhaps a better(?) choice

- Comment on UK | London targets noisy commuters with headphone campaign 2 months ago:
My phone has a headphone jack, so it’s easy for me to plug in some headphones. Most people are not that lucky.
Obviously you shouldn’t be playing audio out loud, but I do sympathize that simply plugging in headphones isn’t an option for most people, needing to carry dongles, or making sure Bluetooth headphones are charged.
I think some blame should be placed on device manufacturers mostly abandoning the industry standard

As the other replier mentioned crinicle is great for reviews. For IEMs I use the original moondrop Chu and they’re good, I also use the kz zsn pro. Also good. But ultimately i really only use IEMs when I’m out on a run or walking to the shops where sound quality isn’t as important. If at home I’ll use over ear headphones and I have beyerdynamics dt770s which are great and super comfy (also built like a tank if durability is a concern)

- Comment on You can drive 74 hours and still be in Germany. The American mind can't comprehend this. 4 months ago:
So interesting to me that Americans think being dependent on a car is “freedom”. Individual freedom should be the freedom to get to where you need to go with viable options to walk, bike, train, bus, tram, or drive.

I think that’s exactly their point. Why would Valve tell users to “upgrade” to a more recent version of Windows? Tell them to upgrade to Linux
