It’s an older meme, but it checks out.

What other languages? It’s AMERICAN or savagery. I don’t speak savage.
- Comment on People often say "Don't talk to the police", but what if a friend, neighbor, or a loved one gets kidnapped and you want to help the victim? 2 weeks ago:
Romantic partners are basically always looked at by investigators because of how frequently they end up being the personal responsible for the crime.
- Comment on Twitch's largest political streamer, Asmongold, shovels racist and xenophobic messaging to his audience of 52K+ live viewers 2 weeks ago:
I have never been an Asmon watcher, so I don’t know if his political content does better than his WoW content, but he’s been a top streamer for a while. Well before he started doing political stuff. He was also renowned for being a disgusting moron, so the political side he picked makes sense.

Open browser
Browser demands updates
All extensions update simultaneously. Each opens its own tab to proudly announce bug fixes for bugs you never noticed.
Close ten tabs you didn’t open
Miss one. It autoplays a video ad.
Type in search bar. Autocomplete offers suggestions that are 5 years old, NSFW, or both.
Search for a product. Top results: Ads. Sidebar: Ads. Bottom: Ads. An actual organic result is wedged between an ad and a newsletter signup modal.
Click real-looking result. Redirected to a shady dropshipper site.
Back button doesn’t work. It reloads the same scam page five times. You lose the original tab somewhere in a pile of redirects.
Click Amazon link. It’s a new seller with the business name “USB_Cable_Amazon_Partner_Official.” 13,000 reviews. All 5 stars.
Try to read reviews. Most are for the wrong product. Many are AI-generated gibberish. The rest complain about shipping.

CAPTCHA challenge: Pick all the traffic lights. Traffic lights are 1 pixel wide. One is technically a lamppost. Verification failed.
2 factor authentication push. By the time you get the authenticator open, the session expired. Start over.
Try to close browser. Are you sure you want to close 37 tabs?”
Yes. It crashes.
Reopens all 37 tabs next launch.
Give up and use your phone
4 popups, fingerprint required, and every link jumps when the page loads because of delayed ad banners.
App store ad appears for the site you’re already on
Clicking “x” opens the ad anyway.
You close the phone browser
Go outside
Get a push notification: “You left items in your cart.”

Iirc the creators said they’ll never put it on sale because that’s unfair to people who paid the full price. The price is the price for Factorio.
- Comment on So um, america just started another war in the middle east. We're going to need a shit ton more memes to distract americans from the nightmare they are enduring. Thanks in advance... 5 weeks ago:
Sooo… I’ve never had a chance to see the inside of a voting facility. Not for lack of trying though.
Is that what happened in 2024 as well?
- Comment on E.P.A. Plans to Reconsider a Ban on Cancer-Causing Asbestos | The Trump administration’s move sets back a decades-long effort to end the use of the material, which is widely banned in other countries. 1 month ago:
The cruelty is the point. Some people just enjoy making others suffer. That IS the source of the pleasure for those types. How the suffering us achieved isn’t really all that relevant.

I don’t know what most of the instances are about, but this one had a clever name and I don’t believe is federated with Hexbear. So here I am.
