- Comment on How does a teenager learn to "eat out" a women without doing it like a dog at a water bowl? 1 day ago:
I really don’t think you deserve all those downvotes. Did all of those people really forget how it is to be a teenager?
I remember quite well my first time having sex and I remember how awkward I felt. There’s no way in hell I would be confident enough to ask my partner for tips how to touch her. Obviously, it makes sense and it would benefit both of us, but it’s just not that easy when you’re only starting out learning about physical intimacy.
With that being said, talking with your partner is the right answer. Especially if it’s more long-term, serious type relationship. You will both learn how to communicate and how to have awesome sex. It builds trust and understanding. It’s great and I highly recommend that.
On the other hand I do realize there might be reasons why you’re not exactly ready right now. And I think you should be able to get pretty good anyway. The advice will be pretty trivial though - just google that shit. I’m absolutely sure there is a ton of articles, forum and reddit threads, even instructional videos (just don’t trust the typical fake porn). It’s really not that complicated and you should have a pretty good idea how to start after doing some reading. Then you just need to pay attention to your partner’s reactions as you go. The way she moves, breathes, moans, touches you. If she likes what you’re doing it shouldn’t be that hard to notice.

I don’t think that’s entirely correct. When heating a burrito in the microwave, there’s no source of heat outside the burrito and there’s no heat transfer from outside into the burrito. The heat comes from excited water molecules in the outer layer of the burrito. The burrito itself is the source of heat. But the microwaves only penetrate so far - around 3 centimeters. The inner layers are heated by heat transfer from the outside to the inside which is probably very similar to traditional heating.
This is just being pedantic because your main point stands but I couldn’t help myself…

Isn’t it kinda obvious that people aren’t particularly good at recognizing languages they don’t know? Obviously, this affects all languages.

I would be okay with the strap-on but not with rimming. As another reply says, some people just don’t like the butt-mouth combination. I’m one of them.

Yeah, I know I could look it up. But since you brought this up, care to briefly explain the Estonian system?

Aren’t moulds manufactured to incredibly high precision? I can’t imagine them having imperfections big enough to cause visibly different fill levels.
However, my only qualification is hundreds of yours of watched How It’s Made episodes so I might be completely wrong.
- Comment on Why are people using the "þ" character? 8 months ago:
For me it makes the text MUCH harder to read. Basically, instead of just quickly “scanning” the text I need to stop and consciously decipher words with this character.
When I read words I know I don’t read them letter by letter, I just recognize the entire “shape” instantly. The thorn throws this mechanism off completely for me.

I don’t like calling them an iditot just because of that but I have to admit I find this incredibly annoying.

Yeah, it’s both funny and terrifying how cubicles were a symbol of a dystopia, and now, with open space offices, people would kill for the cubicles.

I guess I see your POV but what if the no seatbelt guy actually understood the lesson and will voluntarily buckle up from now on? It could save his life.

I always wanted to play with those cool pipettes you see in lab stock photos and videos. I don’t even know why but they just seem so cool.

Yes, that’s why I’m asking questions and not bashing this person for using an LLM.
- Comment on 9 months ago:
How could you catch hallucinations without checking this information with another source? Or is it the case that coming up with a correct search phrase was the hard part so when you already had the explanation it was easier to search for it? But at that point quoting the other source instead of LLM would be an obvious choice for me.

So I struggle with something similar and it turns out it’s because I’m autistic. Maybe you are neurodivergent too? If you decide to consider this idea, I recommend to check out content where neurodivergent people talk about their condition. I would never consider I might be autistic just using descriptions by neurotypicals, the difference is huge.
Now, about your actual question… I don’t really have a perfect solution. I personally use marijuana. I usually plan the time to take a break from all the projects and learning at the end of the day. I make sure all the important chores are already taken care off. Weed definitely does help but I see how it’s far from a perfect solution. Ideally, you wouldn’t rely on any external substance for your wellbeing.
Many people recommend meditation as a way to regain control of racing thoughts. I was never able to make that work though. Whenever I try I just start working on one of my projects in my head…
Good luck!

Is it even possible to not care at this age though? At this point school and interacting with your peers is a vast majority of your life. I don’t think I have ever seen a kid being bullied every day at school and not caring. How can you not care if you’re scared?
I guess it is possible as you get older, more mature and closer to adulthood. But for a kid in a primary or middle school? Kinda hard to imagine for me.
