I don’t disagree with you but I also have to assume there are contracts / stipulations in place that prevent a publisher from doing this after sony/microslop/Nintendo agree to sell digital / physical copies if your game.

His argument makes no sense. What he is saying is that game devs will fall behind competition if they have to disclose AI use… Which correctly implies that customers will not buy products in the AI category… Which means clients don’t want AI snuck into games. This means he would rather sell you games with AI against your consent than be transparent.
The problem he proposes only exists in his universe where AI is not disclosed versus on steam where those companies that use AI are now actually falling behind those that don’t.

Right on, honestly that doesn’t even sound like the mud I meant in my original post. I enjoy a dark roast too with those toasty notes. I used the light cherry caramel example to add effect since the person / coffee I’m talking about is the person who fills the basket to the brim of folgers dark roast, leaves it on the burner and drinks black burnt coffee all day.

I would argue you only like it that way due to exposure to other mis guided coffee drinkers and if you had a chance to reset your tastes you’d come to love a nice light to medium roast with hints of cherry and caramel.

One of the first impressive things you notice on Linux is how smooth the update is (barring any odd ones where manual intervention is required). For most distros it’s anywhere from 1 to 3 commands in terminal followed by a reboot. No nonsense of rebooting 2-3x like windows.

Where did you get this impression. I refund games all the time with no issue, warning or not.
Also I doubt devs would prefer I never try their game versus trying it and maybe enjoying it.

2 hour refunds on steam have never let me down. Also I’d rather encourage devs to release a demo versus yet another subscription model. This is a big pass from me.

Recently got back into cooking. Learn 2-3 easy recipes that can act as a base for the rest of your meal. Get a rice cooker and an instant pot. White rice is quick so its ADHD friendly, plus ricecooker will handle everything in case of distractions. Same for the instant pot.

Preaching to the choir, though some of you were still ok the fence based on replies… Vote with your wallet. I haven’t bought an EA, Ubisoft, Bethesda, or Activision game in a decade. These co’s have ruined our hobby. Get comfortable seeing a game you really want to play and just ignore it, don’t give in. Purchasing it is consent for further eroding of our hobby.
