Stuff like that. Other trans people can (usually) spot an egg a mile away. But like everything else in queerness, it’s never cut-and-dry, black-and-white, easily defined. They could always just be comfortable enough in their birth-assigned gender to not give a shit, and that’s valid.
It’s considered rude to assign this trait to someone you know personally, and the topic is only broached if the person in question chooses to be vulnerable and ask you specific questions about gender. Otherwise, they are (as always) your friend first, and treating them with care and respect always comes first.

I’m glad to see someone mention Caesar Romero’s Joker! I have a soft spot for the 60s Batman, and he did a great job making the Joker whimsical but still dangerous. He played so well against Burgess Meredith’s Penguib and Eartha Kitt’s Catwoman.

Friend, I hate to be the one to tell you this. But we REALLY got the whitewashed version of the history books in school.
Flip the book and read it from their perspective, especially the firsthand sources, and it makes so much more sense. In a truly, truly awful way.

Actually, yeah. This much is true. On my way out of religion, I had a friend offer to Sherpa for my first trip. I’m glad I took her up on it. She was compassionate, thoughtful, and very experienced. Definitely reacquainted me with some things I thought I’d buried, and I finally got to put them to bed for good.
I wouldn’t recommend it for everybody, obviously. But for an extremely confusing and distressing period in my life, it probably saved me years and years of emotional agony.
