  EA literally had one job:

  • Make Skate 2 but with a new area and updated graphics.

  I bought it on release day and got bored quickly.

  I picked it back up two years ago and I played all the way through to the end.

  Now I don’t have much to do but play the expeditions and hunt for my favorite ships.

  Currently I’m spacing bases out across each galaxy. It’s still quite fun, and if you didn’t complete the main story I think it’s worth the purchase.

  I watched a docu about one fusion startup in the US. They’re skipping the boiling water step and converting the energy directly to electricity.

  I dont remember the mechanics of how though. But they reportedly are the closest to net positive.

  Fedora KDE is what I use and recommend.

  Its easy, to setup, no frills, reliable and very easy to use with a just gui if you’re not into the terminal.

  If, and only if, this is not your primary computer. Eg, it’s only for gaming, I’d recommend Bazzite.

  Bazzite is great and I use it on our couch pc for a true console experience. I call it “our better Xbox”.

  In America I do the turn signal hint as well. It seems no one gets the context, even when I can tell by their behavior (body language)?

  That they desperately want to pass, and I want them to pass before I do (left lane is open).

  Most people follow and likely understand the manual hazard lights.

  Two blinks in the tempo of “I’m sorry”.

  I’ve made mistakes before and did so, sometimes they flash one quick blink of high beams to acknowledge.

  When they invaded Georgia they covered hiking paths and walkways. If I ever accidentally disturbed a web, they’d move the web up 3-6ft and hang a warning leaf from 3ft long string coming off of their web.

  I hmhave a goal of having bases evenly distributed across the galaxies. So I hop on every once in a while to find a suitable planet for the next base.

  They replay all the expeditions during the holidays so I do the ones I missed as well.

  Just be aware that the music volume and the volume of noise in your environment are supplementary.

  That means that if you raise the volume of your headphones to hear over your environment you risk damage.

  Nouse cancelling headphones help with this.

  I haven’t read any research on whether active nouse cancellation contributes to this, since active NC is producing more noise in the audible range that you can’t perceive.

  I do use active NC on planes and don’t feel pain in my ears, but I am wary of it and only use it on planes for now.

  Similar to the string, but it’s two black stretchy strings. They’re tightly wound and intended to be pulled off.

  There are also certain anti theft ones that have very thick spikes that leave holes that don’t fill after being removed at the register.
