- Comment on Krafton is now an 'AI-first company,' will spend $70 million on a GPU cluster to 'serve as the foundation for accelerating the implementation of agentic AI' 4 days ago:
$70 million on gpu cluster + $21 million yearly on employee AI tools and training. That’s like 21 $1 million indie games they could found blindly per year with zero expectations, but no push the money to the slop and get nothing in return. Fuck them.

they’re not killing them, they’re monopolizing what they have by adding mandatory cloud like apple and google so you have no way to switch, sure they will lose customers but those who will stay won’t leave anymore because there won’t be way back

In 2015, for example, he took home about $18 million, a small sum compared to 2025’s $96.5 million.
the company pushed its overall 2025 revenue to $281.7 billion
Microsoft has around 230 000 employees.
That means that 1 Microsoft employee in 2025 earned for company roughly $1 280 454
That how monopoly looks like.

For those who don’t know you can see the games people are playing during that event in steamdb
I played so far.
Heroes of Might and Magic Olden Era - nice demo but the graphics map interest points blends with background and it looks like it’s unbalanced.
Alchemy Factory - automation game / shop simulator - also nice demo but the controls are a little clunky and hard to get used to. - Comment on ‘I realised I’d been ChatGPT-ed into bed’: how ‘Chatfishing’ made finding love on dating apps even weirder 2 weeks ago:

- Comment on In which ways the dot com craze of the late 90s and the current AI market differ? In which ways are the same phenomena? 3 weeks ago:
90s dot com boom was about getting rich with stupid ideas. Government was working, technology companies were not in charge. Ex. en.wikipedia.org/…/United_States_v._Microsoft_Cor…. from 1998. 90s bubble was caused by people. Today bubble is caused by governments around the western world supporting monopolies and global corporations. There are only handful of companies today that are in cartel that rules the world. It will be worse.
- Comment on If A.I. is so fast and efficient, and CEOs are paid so much, why not replace CEOs with A.I.? 3 weeks ago:
What you do with money ? Give it to people so they stop working ? CEOs are needed so people earn enough money to survive but not enough to live or rebel against the system. Just like chickens. You cut chicken wings so they don’t fly away.
