What I remember about that documentary was how vain and clueless the people who were interviewed were. Up until that happened to them none of them had ever had an encounter with real adversity.

For the last five years I’m been the one man show. There are only five sites and around a hundred and twenty machines. Really a low effort job truth be told. I’ve finally got rid of all the ‘managed solutions’ and things rarely break as a result.

NASA joke board. I’ve seen these type of boards all over. The best one was a board in a fiber splicing trailer.
It outlined a procedure in case you were ever lost in the woods. It involved pulling a one foot section of fiber out of your back pack and burying it. Then you just had to wait until a backhoe came through and cut it in half. You were supposed to follow the backhoe back out.

First off I have both of the addon packs with all the robotics parts. I didn’t buy them. They just appeared in my downloads one day when the KSP site. I’m pretty sure I was one of the first people to buy it. I know I bought it early on the first day it went on sale. I have KSP 2 and its fun but the original is the one I really like.
I’ve built some really crazy shit. Did ultra low orbits on moons in just a suit. Parked multiple asteroids at KSC. I like it and when it gets boring these days I just don’t play for several months. I’m currently going for a base on every possible orbital body. I also have this mid sized rover made up of five by five x200-32 tanks welded together with large rover wheels and those are really fun jumping around on the mun. I added the realistic atmosphere pack to make flying kerbin more visually appealing with the realistic sky. I haven’t found a single game in the last ten years that I can stand for more than a few months. They seem to be all play to win these days and like many others they have lost me as a customers

I used to do stuff like that. For the last several years I just sandbox with full mechjeb and treat every launch like its the last ship off kerbin. If it doesn’t take twenty minutes real time to five minutes mission time on launch I need to add more parts. I use just a few mods. I have the full atmosphere pack, a fuel balancer and a part welder. Oh and I currently have the tardis added again.
I’ve been playing since it was in beta and there was only kerbin and the mun. It took a week to get to the moon manually and a few more days to go there and back. I was instantly addicted. That xkcd is me. I’ve had to use jeb to push the capsule out of orbit because I had used all fuel including the RCS. Wasted days creating a perfectly balanced communications constellation. Today though I really enjoy packing everything in to one shot and wasting years in time just going to a planet and farting around.
