Will there be cross play with windows?
My crew skipped 6 and still play 5, but a couple years ago they broke cross play so I resorted to bootcamp on my iMac. Clearly it’s not gonna work for 7, been thinking about upgrading the family desktop but really don’t want a windows machine if I can help it

I have a friend with a PhD in linguistics, worked for years in the SF tech world in i18n, not quite a PM, not an engineer, not a CX person but somewhere between the three. He got laid off and found it impossible to get another role, I think in large part because he’s super over qualified by education and years of experience, but in such a niche skill set that doesn’t really fit into traditional tech company roles. He ended up taking a job at the airport doing plane loading and such!

I understand that but none of the replacements came close to matching the level of content and quality, risa used to always be popping in recent and I’ve not found any of the replacements (I subscribed to them all) to be anywhere near that. Not saying the action wasn’t warranted (it probably was) but still sad.

I don’t really know what drama caused it but when he stopped posting on c/risa@startrek.website it was a sad sad day.

One of the best parts of living in the SF bay area is literally anywhere you go isn’t particularly expensive per what you are used to. My wife and I went out to a particularly fancy restaurant on Santorini and the bill was less than we’ve often paid in Berkeley.

Actually talked at length with Bill at a Ratdog show in Chicago around 2007. And had him block my view at the Fox in Oakland a couple of times. Fare thee well Big Red ❤️

I am thinking the meant the Icelandic Freyja chocolate instead? Spelling in the greentext doesn’t match either though.

Is that a Mexican poncho or is that a Sears poncho?

I think perforce is mostly used. There certainly should be a changelog but no text diff really.

Interesting review. I read all 3 books and found the characters and the writing itself to be the weakest part, while the mathy stuff was the most interesting. This esp gets true in the third book. But I also have an infinite loathing for D&D and don’t really trust in their ability to do anything.
