I was at my parents house where it was being discussed nonstop on the news, then during a commercial break they showed a picture of a brown 9yo kid who has been missing since November of last year for five seconds.
When the news came back, they were talking about the missing 84yo woman and I made the decision to not pay attention and block it from my news feed

Unfortunately, legality is one thing and enforcement is another. I’ve yet to see action be taken against illegal parking in NYC. Even when it’s been called in and reported.
Same goes for housing violations & hit and runs

Absolutely no downside, we should be advocating for natural trees vs the fake ones.
Though, i must admit I’m guilty of temptation – the thought of not having to wrangle lights with a prelit tree does entice me (i haven’t given in though ✊)

Its definitely more eco friendly, the alternative is plastic trees which are worse for the environment.
Christmas trees capture CO2 while they mature and are biodegradable/renewable

IPA has a freezing point of -128F/-89C. Those bad boys in some sort of stainless steel insert = a fucking coooold drink
Or you use them in a cooler, where everything is sealed anyway and your drinks will get cold super quick + it’ll clean off the cans too

I don’t have a problem with the tip being wobbly, but it’s definitely a concern. I think its just a problem that you would get with any retractable tip pencil.
IMO, even if it did wobble, it’s worth the inconvenience. I used to have a mechanical pencil with a non-retractable tip & one drop ruined it.
