Yes, it is. People getting radicalised left and right, and I think it’s by design. It’s possible were supposed to be pitted against each other so the wannabe autocrats get their civil war they try to force on us for years now with their rethoric and actions.
It’s possible this anger turns against them instead.

- Comment on Is there really a difference between my understanding the phrase "go for a walk" and my dog understanding the phrase "go for a walk"? 1 week ago:
I found a study that suggests you’re corect and dogs can differentiate between words and syllabis. More on the level of an infant though.
This study provides the first electrophysiological evidence, to our knowledge, for word processing in dogs, revealing its temporal dynamics. Dogs’ ERP responses did not differentiate instruction words (WORDS) and phonetically similar nonsense words (SIMILAR), but ERP for both WORDS and SIMILAR was different from ERP for phonetically dissimilar nonsense words (NONSENSE). This suggests that dogs process instruction words differently from dissimilar nonsense words.
Dogs listened to commands (sit and come) and their modified versions in which phonemes were changed. Dogs noted the difference in alternation of both the first consonants (e.g. [tʃɪt] instead of sit) and the vowels (e.g. [sæt] instead of sit), as shown by the decline of responses to the alternated commands. Based on research on human infants, we have also no reason to assume that the vowel manipulation we applied here (swapping [i], [ɒ] and [ɛ] across conditions in the first vowel position) would be perceptually less salient than the consonant manipulation applied by Mills et al.

My bad, it’s the default I use on the anonymous parts of the Internet for some reason, unless I know for certain.
You want me to edit it?

It appears to me that he’s only defending the obvious nazi salute, but I don’t seem to identify a pattern here. It’s a bit thinly veiled evidence in my opinion.
Everyone should have the right to be blatantly wrong in some issues as long as it doesnt affect moderation. And since mod logs are public, why dont we wait on real evidence that shows he’s unsuited to be a moderator?
Im willing to be wrong myself here.
As I see it, if he’s a Neonazi and can Act freely in his moderation decisions to his ideology, the whole mod team would be compromised.
So far it looks like a with hunt based on one single issue and a ban on a pokemon forum.

Gamergaters praised the game for being anti woke because of the beard of one developer, then they found out theres a gay character.
Haß nothing to do with the game or the people behind it. Its gamer gaters shooting their own foot and now blaming it on them.

Exactly. They don’t want to provide them at all, but customers would get furious, so they cheap out as much as they can.
- Comment on Scales that refuse to measure if the battery isn't brand new 3 months ago:
Weird that you mention Panasonic, because that’s the brand I noticed it first with.
The Panasonic cells that come with a device are usually garbage, also the stuff you get on flee markets and cheap packages on the Internet.
They apparently have cells that hold up and weight noticeably more.
For the standard sizes like AAA, AA and D cells there’s only Duracell for me. They’re still miles ahead of their competitors.

In my experience you can feel how good they are by how heavy they weight in your hand.

How did you manage to lose money on a 3 fund portfolio, if one of its strengths is that it never underperforms the market?
Something doesn’t add up. Sounds and looks like you gambled first and then went with a solid investment.

- Comment on Is it cheaper to use a plug-in oil radiator to eat an individual room, or run the central heater to heat an individual room and living room? 3 months ago:
I thought they burn oil, but they just use oil instead of water.
- Comment on Is it cheaper to use a plug-in oil radiator to eat an individual room, or run the central heater to heat an individual room and living room? 3 months ago:
Get a cheap thermometer to place in the room you’re going to heat and look how much it is off the thermostat and regulate accordingly.
Leaving one room cold while others are significantly warmer might raise the risk of mold significantly, because the warm air might cool in the cold room and condensate on the walls and windows, creating conditions for mold growth.
I look that every room is at least about 16°C as an absolute minimum in winter.

- Comment on David Fincher Giving ‘Fight Club’ a 4K Remaster for the Film’s 25th Anniversary 3 months ago:
The tone of the movie was achieved by often filming in candle light.
It was filmed on good analogue equipment that doesn’t need to be upscaled and fucked with to get the same results with a better resolution.
I’m hopeful they don’t ruin it.
- Comment on What's the term for someone that likes Jesus of Nazareth, but doesn't identify with church, religious dogma, or whatever? 4 months ago:
Ha, they weren’t a band though, just people that walked the crowd trying to convince people of jesus.
I was a ruthless teenager questioning their beliefs until they got pulled away from me.
They somehow couldn’t answer why I would need jesus, when I’m already doing all the things they claim they only do because they found jesus.
Today I’m different and don’t question people’s believes as long as they don’t start harming others in the name of their god.
