And that’s why there’s only garbage coming out these days from the big studios, yes.
Why do you use that to defend them? What do you gain from it defending the cheapest option?
The game drops to 20fps on a 4070 btw, and you’re here pretending it has to be like that because a lot of studios put the least effort they think they can get away with.

No, you were the one that told me that it always sucks, it has nothing to do with my expectations.
I expect a good company to know and work with good tools, not cheap ones.
It starts with handyman and shouldnt stop at game development.
If I hire a company and they come with tools known to be bad, I send them home.

Sure, blame the engine.
Why would they even pick it up as their choice of they dont expect better results? Maybe because it’s the least effort? I’m just speculating here, but when I expect UE5 to always suck, it wouldn’t be my choice if I had quality in mind.

I read it’s badly optimised and even monster PCs cant run it smoothly. It crashes a lot. It’s 55€.
At least you can see a Mountain of skyrim.
Even steam reviews from the first day fans are only around 80% positive, which says a lot for the early stage, and most complain about Performance issues and that they cant get more than 60fps

The first good thing I read about the game. The bar is really low with Bethesda
- Comment on Did the western world just suddenly go back to pretending wrestling is "real" for some reason? 1 week ago:
It’s a soap opera with fighting. Of course fans are talking about the characters and the story. Nobody talking about anything that happens in a soap Opera will add that it’s just fiction, they’re talking about the events.
- Comment on What's a highly-rated, critically acclaimed TV series that you couldn't get into, or have no interest in? 2 weeks ago:
I caught the complete series 1 by accident in a TV marathon when I have never heard of it before.
I was glued to the screen the whole night until 6am. It was so good.
I never really finished the series, I quit on series 3 or 4.
Im sure I have watched all episodes by now, but I lost interest, because a lot of the story fehlt dragged out too much, when the first series was constant progress.
- Comment on ‘Sinners’ Lands First ‘A’ CinemaScore Ever For Horror Movie 2 weeks ago:
It’s possible that horror isnt the mainstream and only fans go watch it, giving it a good rating because it’s done well.
Pure speculation though, as im not going to run the numbers.

I’ve seen some in the comment sections on Lemmy, but the brunt is probably going to tarnish reddit, as they’ve done it anyway when they werent on 4chan.

The tool doesn’t know how much you paid for it, though, so it’s completely ignoring sales and donations and just applies a price to it.

I don’t know why you would use a third Party Tool that estimates your purchase when it has always been right there in your account, without estimates.

- Comment on Are there any games you don't play as it was intended to be played? If so, what game and how? 4 weeks ago:
Battlefield One
I don’t play it anymore, but when I did with a friend, I broke the healer mechanic.
I always stayed with my friend and our team, and instead of a weapon I was carrying a syringe.
In a Match I ressurected up to 70 people, making us pretty much an undying army.
I would always top the leader Board in any game Mode.
A couple months in I saw copycats, but nobody came close to my insanity.
The next Iterations of the game sucked for me because they nerfed the mechanic extremely.

There’s a fourth Option.
It could be a marketing campaign. Post and push a video on Lemmy that involves a power bank, and advertise said power bank also on Lemmy.
