Live service games generate a constant income with minimal effort once it’s live. It will only die if players stop spending money on such games.

Why did they make an expensive game like Concord which nobody wanted? Don’t they have market analysts or something like that? Everyone was able to tell them beforehand that it will flop.

My favourite games don’t look nearly as good as in my memory. Graphics don’t matter, they might even hurt, because there is less left to imagination.

Also age of account? Mine is 21 in just over a week…
Then there will be a market for steam accounts (if there isn’t one yet)

Beer was part of the daily diet in the history (e.g Egyptians). You can pretend it’s the same here.

I’ve actually got some space cowboy vibes, so the swords in the end felt kind of weird. But I’m cautiously optimistic.

I used to play it with my sister, too. Makes me want to dust off my N64 and bring it with me on Christmas to battle it out once again.

But cat based heating has a lower efficiency, they do not turn all energy into heat.

In this case all comments are irrelevant? What makes you think the comment I commented on is relevant, but mine isn’t? What’s the difference?
If one comment is irrelevant, it’s yours, because it didn’t add any thought or value to the topic.

Do I have to agree or disagree? I just pointed out that work today isn’t worse than yesterday.

Capitalism unfortunately
- Comment on Stress 2 months ago:
Work has never been so unstressful, if you look back at the history of mankind.
Industrialization killed workers with 60 hour shifts in unsafe environments. Middle ages made you work 18 hours a day once you were 7 and made you starve if the harvest was bad. In the stone age your family died from hunger after you got killed on the hunt.
Life expectancy was never as high as today.
- Comment on World of Warcraft adds $90 mount to in game store 2 months ago:
People will buy it. And then they will wonder why content quality declines and more and more micro transactions appear in a game you bought and pay subscription for.
The capitalism will always look for the easy route to even more money, and monkey brains with need for status will follow.

- Comment on My mental health has improved after deleting games that have microtransactions in them 3 months ago:
Welcome to capitalism. Big gaming companies do not care about games anymore, they care about how to maximise profits. Their games are manipulative and developed together with psychologists solely to get your hard earned money at any opportunity. They got so good at it, that they are able to release pieces of software which are looking like games but actually are milking machines and no games at all.
You just have to take a step back and you will be able to easily differentiate between products of corporate greed and games which once were supposed to be entertaining and art.
