I would give it a try just to pinch my nose and go “THIS? is audible” at the intro

A-plus for authenticity, plus I feel like you’ve truly captured the essence of what that message sounds like. Good job!

I’m in a long distance relationship, recently my girlfriend suggested we read books together by one of us reading to the other one over the phone - usually me, but occasionally the other way around. It’s turned into quite a precious bedtime story routine. Sometimes I also read to her while she’s cooking or doing other chores.

If she is blind it works in my favor because she can’t see how ugly I am on the outside. Too bad I’m also ugly on the inside :(

“Rocky!? Does your face have a pelvis!?”
“But I’m beautiful on the inside!”
Yeah but Rocky, there’s a limit!!"

My wife has become legally blind this year and it sucks majorly

Let’s be honest if someone reduces a person to their disability they are not going to get dates from people with said disability.
Being blind is also not a binary thing. Often legally blind can have many variants where their vision might be intensely poor but they still have vision to a degree.

Also a lot of legally blind people use the internet both privately and professionally and are independent people who don’t rely on their partners for everything.

It says here it’s more of a hassle than actually impossible. Which yeah, probably, considering how little care people take towards accessibility

It has been fascinating to watch chasing gradually become a faux pas. A decade ago, I’d have guessed that it would take another 50 years.
