Proof that not every thought you have deserves to be a meme

Because I like this meme I can now pretend to conclude that every thought this person has deserves to be a meme.

Proof that it doesn’t need to be a comment either

Okay, but horror movies are, by and large, hilarious.

TBH I think the harder a horror movie tries to be funny the less I find it entertaining at all. Example: The Monkey (2025) just comes off as unfunny gore fetishism to me.

Okay, but horror movies are, by and large, hilarious.

It’s why I can never get into horror.

Either it fails at being horror and is – at best – unintentionally funny, or it succeeds in making me scared. Either way, I have a bad experience.

      There’s three types…

      1. Cheap horror relying on jump scares. Literally unavoidable fear, not crafted.
      2. Regular horror. Uses the science of fear. It’s not “scary”, it’s more a disturbing thought of plausible reality.
      3. Hilarious/Entertainment horror. Over the top gore, ridiculous scenarios/situations.So disconnected from reality it’s almost light-hearted.
