  Racism, slavery, and settler colonialism is the origin story of capitalism. But yea, the gulags were bad and stuff.

  is this ragebait? who the fuck cares what some assholes did in the 20th century. assholes have always existed and will always exist in any government. the real issues weren’t with the ideals of redistributing wealth, but with forbidding freedom of opinion, freedom of speed, and freedom to not agree to the atrocities carried out by the government. that has nothing to do with economic policy at all.
