Monster energy? The sponsor of the Trump fight on the lawn of the white house?
This guy fucking sucks. Fuck this guy.

Know your audience. The guy smoking a cig and pounding a monster for breakfast before clocking into their minimum wage job also probably voted against their own interests.

As unfortunate as that is, white monster is too delicious

Nah ffs just do drugs, it’s politically more defensible

That actually looks like a pretty kick-ass job. Wait… I’m supposed to BE the dragon in this scenario, right?
davetortoise@reddthat.com 4 weeks ago
Actually, it’s a wyvern. Dragons have four legs and two wings, wyverns have two legs and two wings.

Actually that’s my cock. Wyvern’s don’t react like that when they see your mom.

Still looks kick-ass to me. I don’t care what you say

Pardon me, I’ll be back later. I’m off to play a bit on my most recent survival playthrough of Skyrim… I love having to ride my horse places that don’t have carriage access which is 95% of them. You could do five playthrus using fast travel and you wouldn’t know the world a quarter as well as after one survival playthrough.

I hated the survival mode. It didn’t really add much to anything, imo, and could have been built better.
I played morrowind without understanding how fast travel worked in that game for a long while. I get the immersion thing.

Playing survival but being willing to use console commands just a tiny bit to make it less painful, that’s the sweet spot for me. I give myself some coins. I’m the dragonborn, it isn’t a stretch to think I might have also started out life with a little money. I mean my parents clearly had a heroic bloodline, they should have been successful. And when I’m building homesteads I console command most of the supplies. It’s rich privilege. It’s real. But I can still freeze to death or starve like anyone else navigating Skyrim.

Would love the kind of job where violence is an acceptable response to hostility from people you encounter, money is easily made by looting bodies and opening random treasure chests in the wilds, and magic works.
Where can I apply?

I know your thinking about the classic RPG experience, but your description very accurately describes being in the army lol. Maybe I’ve now matured enough that I can finally feel bad about abusing Nazeem?
Impound4017@sh.itjust.works 4 weeks ago
Nah, Nazeem is part of the bourgeoise, and this is in a setting with relatively little upward economic mobility, so it’s likely that his family has always had money. He’s a landlord who gets his wealth by extracting it from a farm he owns but doesn’t work, and he uses this wealth to lord his position over the common people while he berates them for the crime of not having his fortune.
If Skyrim were to have a French-style revolution, Nazeem would get the guillotine for sure, and I doubt anyone in Whiterun would shed a tear. Probably not even his wife, given the way she talks about him. Abuse away knowing he’s part of the parasite class.
You’re right about the rest of it, though. I’d hate to meet most of the elder scrolls protagonists. Most of the main stories require a certain moral flexibility just to complete them.
