      Certain socialist concepts, when applied sparingly, targetedly and thoughtfully, work pretty well — as we can see in the Nordic countries. But if used as a global state paradigm (also add populism to it), then yes, same shit.

      It’s about how any uniting ideology can be used against the people who follow it.

      It creates conformity, obedience, loyalty to “the cause.”

      And some psychopath will always try to come in and take power.
