I don’t know, but I do assume everyone who was extremely concerned about Joe Biden’s health being “hidden from us” will be really quiet about this
Is it really possible that the Maggats will keep Mitch McConell on life support until the midterms? Or will they just let him die and try a sympathy vote?

apnews.com/…/mitch-mcconnell-senate-illness-hospi…
Staff for Kentucky Sen. Mitch McConnell said last week that the senator is “continuing his recovery” in a hospital while the Senate is out of session. But his office has released no details about the former Republican leader’s condition during his weekslong hospitalization or whether he will be at the Capitol when the Senate returns next week.
McConnell was admitted to the hospital on June 14, according to a statement from his office that only said he was “receiving excellent care.” A statement a week later said that he would not be voting that week. And on Thursday, a new statement said that he “continues to improve” and ”appreciates the outpouring of support he’s receiving while he continues his recovery in the hospital.”

It’s still wild to me that elected officials can just choose not to vote. That’s literally their job. The job they campaigned for. The job they wanted enough to sacrifice their morals.

Oh he dead
Joking aside, I think he’s alive, but probably is no longer capable of walking or taking coherently. But that’s fine, senators didn’t need to be able to do any of that stuff to serve their corporate functions. My senator was Diane Feinstien: she was basically a vegetable for something like her last two it three years in office.

They only need to keep him “alive” until August 1st. If he’s announced dead before then, the [D] governor of KY would be able to appoint a replacement.

This is SO on brand for McConnell, just wow.

No. If he dies before Aug 1 then a “special election” is held wherein Massie is likely to run, split the Republican vote, resulting in a Democrat taking the seat.
After Aug 1 the seat will just be filled in the regular election with a MAGA approved candidate in the R column.

Oh that’s right, those red state dipshits changed that law a couple of years ago, when McConnell started showing his age.
