Which is why I toss a GoPro on my RC trucks again instead of flying a drone, which is sad because I sold my RC planes to buy my first drone.

When I got into drone flying back in 2014 you grabbed a drone, charged it up, and went for a fly.
Then in 2016 I got hired to fly a drone for a movie I was working on. I had to get permits to fly, I had to get a license, I had to tag my drone my operator number.
In 2018 I rented out my drone to another production because I could not make the dates they needed me to fly. They destroyed my drone and my backup drone, I took the insurance money and bought a better drone. I have yet to fly it because there is much more paperwork involved to fly it.
As of a few years ago your done must broadcast your registration number. Mine is too old for that so I need a separate transponder module.

When we canceled, they did not actually cancel. We got a surprise charge while on vacation, which was just enough to nearly drain the account. When I called they said I had to cancel by sending a letter.
I called my bank instead reported the card missing and left it at that. Never heard from PF again.

I had sole custody of one of my kids, and not only could i not get child support, i was still having to pay support to the other parent.

I took 3 1/2 years of French in high school, but barely used it after graduation. I do wish we had more language learning in school.
In elementary school half of our day was taught in Spanish, but an ignorant parent (my mother) complained so loudly that the project was scrapped after only a couple months.

At my high school you needed 2 communication credits, foreign languages counted, so did drama, journalism, year book, cheer squad (this always puzzled me as it was not even a class), and others I am sure I am forgetting as it was 30ish years ago.

Posting in a dead community will put the post on all, unlike Reddit. And anyone whose instance sees that community and does not have it blocked could see the post. But a heavily populated community is going to be better.
!pcmasterrace@lemmy.world may be a good place to try.
