    What is your intent?

If you want to help preserve, you can help Anna’s Archive by seeding torrents: https://annas-archive.gl/torrents

I knew it there is a trick you have to pay for to get a membership. It’s not free.

Sorry, what are you trying to do? Anna’s achive is not selling anything. You can donate to them, and in return they will give you fast downloads from their mirrors. But you are not using their mirrors, you’re using torrents, right?

Like you just literally go to https://annas-archive.gl/dyn/generate_torrents?max_tb=1&format=url

And it will give you a list of torrent files you can download to seed their content as a backup for them, to preserve the knowledge. At no point do you need a membership (not even if you want to download individual files from their servers, you just get slower download speeds which will still have you downloading books in a minute or two).

You can help hoard the info so the knowledge is not lost. The torrents are not designed to be browsed (you do that on their website) but instead are designed to be a copy to stop it being lost.

To help, follow the link I gave. In the “Help seed” section say how much space you have. It will allocate you appropriately torrents to download and seed.

Yes. Except for interesting posts, everything else is available at your local library. You can only hoard for about three weeks at a time though.

        dictionary.cambridge.org/…/to-heart-s-content

        to your heart’s content

        idiom

If you do something to your heart’s content, you do something enjoyable for as long as you want to do it:
You’ve got a whole week to yourself and you can read to your heart’s content.

Yes…and more. It’s like im a pitbull and always have my computer going through my mind to download. I am addicted. In reality I would like enough information that I know it would last till I am a hundred years old. I am 32 at the moment. It’s kind of been an obsession. Still trying to get to to my first petabyte but I think in the next 15 years if I could keep on it I could get to exabytes.

Dang! What knowledge do you hoard? I’d like to archive sites of actual science or discoveries before they’re disappeared, and other long-term humanity helpful stuff.

Raw storage capacity I’m over 200TB easily. Redundancy is closer to 150TB. Used is actually closer to 60TB. That’s a mix of all my DVDs, BDs, UHD BDs, TV series, personal photos, videos, documents, stuff for family (duplicates).
