Why does most of the world feel the need to broadcast their communications? (he said while typing into the internet).

Okay, we need you to throw your hat in the ring and start representin’. I would def vote for you.
- Comment on Min wage in most states is so sad 2 days ago:
Who needs to understand definitions? Your actions are self-evident and show who you are within the system. In a world where the powerful are scraping coins off of you for more yachts I try my best to help the people and the land. I can do that without knowing economic theory. Even a child can understand that.

If it is still republican owned after the mid-terms then you can all assume that the takeover is almost complete. I desperately hope that is not the case and caring adults will have a kick at the leadership can after November (or at least have the power to hold the toddler-beast at bay so we can gird for some real change).

Thank God there have been enough school shootings in the past so we could learn how to be creative in our grief. /s

- Comment on If I wrote a script for a movie and sent it off to a studio or whatever. What prevents the person who recieved it from claiming it as their own? 6 days ago:
Do the old “mail it to yourself and leave it unsealed with a postmark” gambit.
- Comment on How do we stop people from defending billionares and trillion dollar companies? 6 days ago:
If they’re being paid off you can’t stop them. You have to stop the billionaires first, then the payoff money stops flowing and all of a sudden the arrogant and petty petit bourgeoisie are on their own desperately trying to convince you that they were on your side all along.

Not mine. Monty Python “The Bruce’s Philosophy Song”.
Immanuel Kant was a real pissant Who was very rarely stable Heidegger, Heidegger was a boozy little beggar Who could think you under the table David Hume could out-consume Wilhelm Freidrich Hegel And Wittgenstein was a beery swine Who was just as schloshed as Schlegel There’s nothing Nietzsche couldn’t teach ya 'Bout the raising of the wrist Socrates, himself, was permanently pissed John Stuart Mill, of his own free will On half a pint of brandy was particularly ill Plato, they say, could stick it away Half a crate of whiskey every day Aristotle, Aristotle was a bugger for the bottle Hobbes was fond of his dram And Rene Descartes was a drunken fart “I drink, therefore I am” Yes, Socrates himself is particularly missed A lovely little thinker, but a bugger when he’s pissed

I’m guessing this is a common thought or feeling for most in a dissonant corporate world.

There’s nothing Nietzsche couldn’t teach you 'bout the raising of the wrist. (Socrates himself was permanently pissed).
- Comment on TicketMaster has started requiring government IDs and facial scans 1 week ago:
I’ll watch the neighbours kids do a backyard “concert” before I would pay ticketmaster to see a show. Local gigs and community theatre will be making a big comeback down the road. Ticketmaster can’t sustain their iron grip on venues and touring artists forever. In the meantime though it’s morphed into a service for the elite and the “monied”.
- Comment on the last season was so ass 1 week ago:
I was really into the series while it aired. It was so long until the final season came out I no longer cared if I watched or not. I did though. It was okay but nothing spectacular.
- Comment on No one spells "lose" anymore 2 weeks ago:
You are commenting on administration and procedure. What do you think of the common spelling error? It’s hardly negative unless you see the world darkly.
- Comment on The Price of this Candy Bar 2 weeks ago:
I think the word your looking for is “want”, not “need”. There is a very large difference in meaning between the two.
- Comment on Peacock has ads when pausing a movie to read the text 2 weeks ago:
Not just peacock. Ads are invasive. I watch a game show on YouTube because I can pause it to read the lists. The same gameshow on Prime goes right into an ad when I pause. I hope this was a human dumb feature and not an evil design perk for the overlords. I amend what Shakespeare said…“First, we kill all the advertisers”.

I like how smoking became a thing you can do with electronics. We’ll fucking buy any thing or idea out there without too much thought. The “cool” factor among our peers is a strong motivator and the marketing people know this.
