Well, one thing is for sure, I’m no genius.
- Comment on Does the USA have gifted schools or was Spider-Man Homecoming lying? 1 day ago:
Oh. My own experience is that there are “special” classes for the learning impaired. Never heard of any “genius” schools unless it’s fiction. I’m interested in the feedback to see what exists out there for the bright bulbs who don’t really travel the beaten path.
- Comment on Does the USA have gifted schools or was Spider-Man Homecoming lying? 1 day ago:
Not so much “gifted” schools but “prestige” schools like Harvard or Yale where money speaks loudly.
- Comment on We can all agree on this 1 day ago:
I wonder what “average” means under the new federally controlled “bell curves”.
- Comment on We can all agree on this 1 day ago:
I generally go anti-brand. Not Tide but something soap like not connected to the Tide company. Apply this logic to all “brands”. Brands have become too big, too meaningless and too expensive for really no added value except a “comfortably superior feeling”.

- Comment on How to deal with people who obtusely miss your point on Lemmy? 4 days ago:
I would argue that downvotes and bad arguments made by morons aren’t so different from downvotes and arguments made by the “intellectually superior” among you. It’s hard to corral human thought and all of it’s often contradictory and competing, overt or covert motivations.

I dig trenches with a shovel. There is no USB port on my shovel. I thank the almighty gods for that small blessing.
- Comment on is it weird to have your own religious beliefs system 6 days ago:
Maybe it’s nitpicking but having a moral code is a normal thing, having a religious belief system is weird, or at least not the norm.
- Comment on Does the military do regular STD tests? 1 week ago:
They’ll start now because they need to inject their soldiers with Pfizer approved “testosterone” going forward. This is not a vaccine. I repeat, this is not a vaccine.

- Comment on Mark Zuckerberg leaves stranded boat passengers to die in middle of the Pacific. 1 week ago:
Oops! My guess is that he had some tweens on that boat and would have found himself in a compromising position if he intervened. His bros assaulted the tweens while he recorded it all through his “man glasses”. /s

The same thing that broke when our cars and food prices got so high. We need to find out what broke before it finally affects the Pokeman cards! /s

Is that fanaticism or just desperate greed to capitalize on something while doing very little to earn it? In either case, fuck trump.

- Comment on ‘The market is dead’: why aren’t flats in England selling? 1 week ago:
Give me a reasonable rent that is fair to both landlord and tenant. I don’t want to buy a flat and be partially responsible for maintenance costs of a complete high-rise building.
