What’s the context behind the image?

Here’s a less polluted link
She’s quite iconic. Genuinely a very painterly image and the clip would be funny to show to people in the future out of context.
I’ll tell my future grandchildren that it’s an American version of a Haka
It is interesting she curls her finger up, if you are pointing for a third person to follow your gaze you hold your finger straight. She is pointing for herself and that finger is like a gun sight.
lots of people don’t hold their finger straight when pointing things out for others. which is really confusing sometimes yeah
This is from sports?
Yes, she was trolling an opposing player.

Spiders are our friends. They eat bugs. Let them be your little insect-control partners in your household.

I was putting up curtains for my parents this morning and a spider hanging out nearby had its web wobbled by pulling out the curtain pole, then it just oscillated violently for like 30-60 seconds.
Remarkably versatile creatures, i would probably die if i was getting shaken that quickly. But i guess it happens a lot to them because they usually live on their cobwebs, in suspension and at the mercy of wind or passing beasts.

Until you have 30+ running around at night leaving webs on and around everything that you get to walk through and clean up. And I mean everything floor to ceiling strands from them dropping down, across doorways, spanning anything they walk across. No. I don’t have a problem with them outside, do your work little buddies, but not in the house. It’s bad enough anything in my garage gets covered in webs within a day, I don’t need it in the house.
