The problem is, so much is a zero sum game to people and they just can’t snap out of it…

How many times have you heard “that’s what’s wrong with the left!” Or “typical right racism” while unfortunately, the right nonsense is far more extreme and out to hurt people, neither side will ever consider the other perspective.

I am very much on the left, but anything agricultural is sitting square on the right. I come from farming family and I’ve seen how bad it gets, if i were to vote (which i can’t, yey immigration!) How would i vote? I wouldn’t vote for the right but then I’d be watching more of our farming go down in flames… idk what the farming is like in US on political spectrum, but here in UK no one is truly championing it.

I get the impression from your comment you’re under the illusion that Labour are still a left wing party.

Labour have not been left wing since 1995, when they reworded clause 4 of their constitution and reformed into New Labour.

The UK hasn’t seen a left wing government since the end of the Callaghan ministry in 1979. We had Tories after that, New Labour in 1997, Tories from 2010 to 2024, and now more New Labour despite them going back to the old name of just Labour.

Third way politics uses the marketing and “niceness” of the left whilst implementing right wing policies. For example, the modern Labour party claim to support the NHS, while at the same time selling parts and data off to private companies.

Farmers are workers, workers lives improve when left wing parties rule. The only left wing parties with a viable chance at some form of power right now are The Green Party of England and Wales, the Scottish Greens, Plaid Cymru, and the SNP.

Well shit. Nothing apparently. I guess you have dibs on the meaning of this unclaimed word!

        What’s it gonna mean?

it just sucks how it’s all the way at the bottom of the post dialogue, where if you aren’t actively looking for it, you completely miss it.

it only shows up when you add an image, and in a completely unrelated part too!! there is no indication that anything was added, other than another section suddenly being there

I’m exceptionally prone to it, actually. That’s why I’ve invested a lot of time and energy into being aware of it.
