If this is AI art which it probably is, its the worst fucking way to give this kind of message.

Not really, no. The means of production include generative tools.
TheBlue22@lemmy.blahaj.zone 1 year ago
By using the tools made by the elite, created for profite of the elite stealing the work of the working class?
aodhsishaj@lemmy.world 1 year ago
Do the ones doing the labor own those tools and the profit from them?

Wow fuck yourselves for using ai trash to represent Bob Ross, a man famous for THE JOY OF PAINTING
MossyFeathers@pawb.social 1 year ago
Why does Bob Ross look like John McAfee? Why do the mountains have weird Tesla coil death rays on them?
ProfessorProteus@lemmy.world 1 year ago
I figured it was Bryan Cranston. If we join the revolution can he cook for us? Burgers and stuff, I mean 😉
Imgonnatrythis@sh.itjust.works 1 year ago
I think it would be cool if Cranston played Ross in a film.
Putting this out there and hoping it happens. Soon.

That’s how Bob McAfee’s grow in the wild.

Lunch break is almost over go back to class
ElBarto@sh.itjust.works 1 year ago
Nah it’s sadder than that.
aodhsishaj@lemmy.world 1 year ago
Kinda shitty to talk about art, revolution and freedom using AI trained on stolen artwork
icepuncher69@sh.itjust.works 1 year ago
Its kind of on brand when you take into account what they mean when they say “revolution”. (I.e. china’s take on intellectual property)
lepthesr@lemmy.world 1 year ago
Also bad taking credit for something you couldn’t think of. I could think about ten between mountains and trees.
ArmokGoB@lemmy.dbzer0.com 1 year ago
The AI was trained on publicly-available artwork, posted on websites with ToS (at the time of training) that allowed it to be used for training AI.
aodhsishaj@lemmy.world 1 year ago
Where is your source for that? Because the lawsuits and lack of transparency in what the models were trained on dispute your claim.
