  I really don’t understand labubus. I get that they use the “gotcha” thing to sell more and prey on gambling addiction, but they’re ugly af. Why the hell did anyone want them in the first place?

  As a 30 year old man, my take is that they’re cute. And they’re smaller than expected, only the size of a cup.

  The quality of the original ones is really high, better than the Monchichi back in the days.

  I got one for my gf around may, she later won a fake one at a festival.

  I don’t know they kind of get the Pokémon formula correct: don’t make it too cool and give it something quirky
