I’ve had people on a local forum who bought me games on Steam and I later wire transfered them money in bank because I didn’t have credit card yet back then. I had some presence there as security and tech “guru”, but they didn’t actually know me.
One even lend me his entire Steam account for a while to play his CounterStrike:Source coz he wasn’t playing it. Later I bought the Orange Box myself, that one was actually from retail lol, still have the box.

Or hindering a possible investigation by implicating the kid that owns the account.

Brothers, it is once again time to give away a massive yacht.
I’m not clicking on this click. I suspect a yacht is not the only thing that are never gonna be given there.
My youngest son has a story just like this, but he would have been a toddler without anything to play Roblox on in that time-frame.
Damn, I wish he liked anything like beetles or stamps or whatever, even half as much as he likes the most disappointing sorts of video games, and no, I don’t mean trash games, I mean abandonware of the RFID/janky-peripherals variety.
I actually bought Builder’s Club for someone back in the day. They asked first. I was pretty clear on the risks, though.
Was that when I was 12, or something? I was always quite honest.
