I used to always make minecraft skins based on how I looked :3 there’s a few of them that even had my school uniform lol
My current one is a modified version of a skin I found, but I still picked it based on various characteristics of myself

Steve I guess? Unless it’s my own minecraft skin :3 either way if we take the feats the minecraft character is capable at face value…
- Comment on To win and so this before the loser could have with you 1 week ago:
A winner is a loser who tried again. Top word first then bottom word, alternating to middle :3
- Comment on How do you use the "uno reverse card"? 2 weeks ago:
I’ve not seen anyone play as the meme would imply, I think that entire meme basically just comes from the card being called “reverse” and nothing to do with the actual rules :p

I do the thing you said doesn’t work for you lol - I usually just sit on my bed to read; I put some pillows between the wall and the side of the bed and lounge

- Comment on What games did you sleep on for too long? 3 weeks ago:
Undertale/deltarune. I played a demo for one of them (I forget which) and I found it too handholdy with not enough happening. Of course the games get a lot more fun after the tutorial section, but for me at the time it just felt too dragged out, so I didn’t properly play them until a few years later

You forgot to make the mona lisa crash in the last one, and need a 120gb day one patch to be “playable” (it’s not playable, it just doesn’t crash now), and also require a constant internet connection despite being single player. And needing to install some weird launcher that never works even though you bought the game on steam
Yeah :3

- Comment on I prefer mine with the bone 4 weeks ago:
Fun fact: in my native language the word for a pit (as in a hard central fruit seed) is directly translated as “little bone” so depending on who you ask, avocados indeed do have bones :3
- Comment on Phew that was a close one 5 weeks ago:
I only called my teacher mom once, and it was like 3rd grade, but luckily it was an english class and the task was to say 1 english word we learned, so I “saved” it =w= (the teacher totally knew)
- Comment on Unbelievable that Assassin's Creed never won a Game of the Year award 5 weeks ago:
I wish more games copied the way AC Odyssey did waypoints/exploration, I quite enjoyed that system =w=
It’s not inherently related to the post, but I think it’s one of the things in assassin’s creed games that was executed well but seemingly largely unrecognized/forgotten
- Comment on What's the weirdest thing in english? 1 month ago:
You know, I never thought about the opposite being a problem lol.
It’s mildly interesting to think about
- Comment on What's the weirdest thing in english? 1 month ago:
Is it the fact the way something is written almost has no bearing on how it’s pronounced?
For me as someone who speaks english as a 2nd language this is definitely a big one
Though on the topic of the definite article, as a kid I found articles in general to be weird as my native language has none, so there were just these “untranslatable” words in front of some nouns for some reason
- Comment on Trail reviews are so silly 1 month ago:
I’ve been to a fair few forest walking trail type things, and I think there’s only one I could consider giving a negative review to, and that’s mainly cause I could hardly find how to get on it, lol. Mind you, it was also dark, so maybe during daytime the entrance was more obvious, but I got to the signpost/information board for the start of the trail and walked around the clearing for like 15 mins not seeing where it continues. I did eventually get on it… the walk was fine other than the 10,000,000,000 mosquitoes… if I ever go back, I’ll remember bug spray
(one of the 2 times I got “lost” looking for a nice nature walk. But the other one was really the fault of google maps (and also funnily both were on the same day)).

Not quite a croissant, but I know multiple people who peel curd cheese doughnuts before eating them (and eat the skin separately)
- Comment on What are the memory usage of various types of processes? 2 months ago:
I would not say that reflects my experience. The vast majority of the people I interact with outside of the internet don’t play video games, and if they do it’s crossword games or candy crush on their phone, so I would not generally consider video games as an average person thing, or at least it doesn’t seem to be where I live outside the younger generations
Either way, OP said they don’t want RAM hog applications, for which they mentioned video editors taking 8+GB, and I’d say on average games probably take 4-8GB (and I don’t particularly play the modern AAA stuff), so I’d consider them a valid target to exclude on those grounds even if we do define them as something for average people
- Comment on What are the memory usage of various types of processes? 2 months ago:
I was talking more in terms of “normie” programs than games tbh, they’d obviously use way more lol
And yeah, electron wrappers would also be up there, for me spotify is at around 200-300MiB, I don’t have slack or vscode so can’t check those. In terms of having generic programs rather than specific named ones as OP mentioned electron apps may be harder to specify or label in a way that’s recognizable to most people
- Comment on What are the memory usage of various types of processes? 2 months ago:
There’s not that many programs most people use that consume a substantial amount of RAM, generally browsers are by far the heaviest ones.
I have a system monitor open rn and looking at some basic apps a calculator app uses around 30MiB, office programs would be around 150MiB unless you’re opening massive files, an email client would be around 100MiB, a PDF viewer is around 60MiB, a file manager is 40MiB, a video player is a 100MiB etc.

You need to capitalize your I’s to start. Also I think your punctuation could be better, it’s for the most part commas and periods, which looks quite flat for creative writing. I’'d say try out using more dashes, semicolons, and other punctuation marks to “spice it up”
- Comment on Is it just me or does it seem Google is either AI filled or becoming obsolete? Is there an up and comer that can be what Google used to be? Or are we stuck oogling stuff forever? 2 months ago:
Oh they’re planning to replace the standard link view with AI overview in general :3 source
There’re quite a few alternative search engines; I personally use duckduckgo, but startpage is also good, I hear, I’ve been trying it out in cases where ddg doesn’t get my desired results :3. There’s also searXNG which is more technical, but quite good in terms of fetching results from a bunch of stuff, and a lot of people I know swear by kagi, but that one is a paid service. Those are the main “big” ones I see around. Of course they’re by far not the only ones
