Just know that if you are a manager, everyone is reacting out of obligation
I don't like to brag, but

Can totally relate. Usually you get 1-2 reactions but if you hit 4 or more, you know that you did it.

Your innie excels at getting reactions from his peers

This means nothing without knowing how many people are in the chat.
I’ll have you know that the single person i send messages to on Teams often laugh-reacts to my comments.
I bet my ratio is better than yours, nerd.

I cannot find the words to express how much I hate reactions in teams. Random posts in a bs channel. Sure. That one teammate, that is useless and no one knows what they do, smashing a reaction every 3 seconds in a meeting can fuck off.

You’re going to flip your lid when you learn that you can react to emails in Outlook now. It’s completely ignorable, so I assume Microsoft will find a way to shove it in my face soon.

It will part of the next big AI intrusion. Copilot will throw out some random and incorrect summary of the email and then ask you if you want to send a reaction. Cause it’s so professional. And, there is no option not to send one.

Interesting fact, this is one area where the USA and Europe have a very large cultural difference. In Europe, people are themselves at work, they don’t have a work persona like in the USA.
