Chloroplasts are the mitochondria of the plant

Plant cells also have mitochondria.

Completely understandable. It’s a lovely neighborhood; everyone collaborates, natural lighting nearly everywhere, and there is a convenient arrangement worked out with the larger surrounding community. Haven’t looked back since I moved in.

It all runs on good ol’ clean green energy, and with the new turbines installed we’re really seeing a rembursed in energy of our exhausted ADP residents. They had been beginning to complain saying “I might just move to the mitochea with the wages us ADP get there”. But I just said to those crazy fools “ya fools dont wanna go down that dark, dark road. want to know where the mitochondria get all there energy from? They steal it, steal it from right under our bloody noses, steal the suger we put our blood sweat and tears into”. Most stay, but sometimes I feel a few sneak away in the night.
But you wanna know a secret, I’ve heard rumors… rumors that in the mitochondria ADP once plump with riches will be taken against there will, kidnapped straight from there fancy mansions in the mitochondria. The few that come back stuggle to recover, but many are never to be seen again.

I’ll be damned if that’s not the coziest-looking nightmare I’ve ever seen.

You can’t afford it.

I loved seeing models like this in science book as a kid because I’d imagine them as tiny little worlds
