Good lord, you’re right that thing is terrifying!
- Comment on Aussie Fauna 17 hours ago:
I love Australia but I’ve always wondered what exactly it is about Australia that made evolution go “yes, let’s make this place like Master Mode in BOTW where everything is OP, wants to kill you, and can one-shot you”
- Comment on American and British English spelling and pronunciations 2 weeks ago:
Either is right for me and it entirely depends on whatever I’m vibing with at the time!
- Comment on How do you pronounce "centaur" and why? 2 weeks ago:
Cen-toor
- Comment on Virgin Physicists 2 weeks ago:
That’s revolting.
- Comment on How are you feeling? 3 weeks ago:
Thank you! ❤️
- Comment on Mother 3 weeks ago:
Quokkas are so adorably happy looking! 😃 I’ve never heard of anyone disliking them.
- Comment on How are you feeling? 3 weeks ago:
Feeling really good! 😃 I’m aiming to get my passport so I can travel the world. The destinations on the top of my list are all on different continents. I’ve already got so many plans laid out and I’ve been spending the past week or so mentally prepping myself by watching videos about airports. I haven’t flown in a while and they’re gonna be long haul flights!
- Comment on Was Donald Trump ever cool? 3 weeks ago:
Before he got into power, hotels and casino businesses of his went bankrupt six times. That’s pretty uncool.
- Comment on He's totally not a Nazi tho 4 weeks ago:
This adds to an ever-growing list of things.
-
He created a safe space for Nazis on his platform
-
He amplified pro-Nazi content on his platform
-
He offered support for Germany’s far-right AfD party, which uses Nazi symbolism in its posters.
-
He did not one, but two Nazi salutes during Trump’s inauguration.
-
He’s endorsed established antisemetic conspiracy theories such as the “great replacement” conspiracy theory.
-
After receiving backlash for the two Nazi salutes that he did at Trump’s inauguration, instead of apologizing, he posted Nazi puns.
All the gaslighting from his supporters with “you can’t read his mind” “he’s autistic” and “it was a Roman salute/my heart goes out to you” is quite frankly an insult to people’s intelligence.

- Comment on What does a week of groceries look like to you? 5 weeks ago:
A bag of frozen chips/fries, potato chips/crisps, 2 boxes of 12 eggs, some cereal, chocolate, maybe a crate of pop and a bottle of milk.
- Comment on What could cause one to randomly twitch? 5 weeks ago:
It’s known as dyskinesia and lots of things can cause it! Magnesium deficiency can be a trigger for it, but so can certain neurological conditions and medications. Has this been happening for a long time? Either way it doesn’t hurt to get it checked by a doctor for peace of mind!
- Comment on does someone who lives very far away from me (for example 1900 miles) see the same night sky as me? (as in moon, stars, etc) 5 weeks ago:
It really depends!
If you’re talking latidutally, for example, they’re 1900 miles down South, then there would be a noticable difference. If the difference was in longitude, then your view of the night sky would be delayed to them depending on the difference in time zone.
- Comment on Is anyone else getting a bit of schadenfreude from the news each day? 1 month ago:
No. It makes me relieved that I am not an American. Most Americans did not vote for Trump, so I just feel sorry and genuinely worried for the majority of Americans who now have to put up with the outcome of a vocal minority’s votes for the next 4 years. People are already dying over this which is very upsetting.
- Comment on I love the future. 1 month ago:
These people literally don’t know what mRNA is, they believe it’s the same thing as DNA because it sounds vaguely similar. It’s good to see actual experts calling him out though! We really need more of this.
- Comment on Do most people still use computers, or do people only use a smartphone as their main/only device? 1 month ago:
I’ve only ever used a PC to browse the internet and social media. I’m really not a smartphone kind of person! I think it’s because I’m mostly a PC gamer who has grown accustomed to always having a huge screen and having everything responding instantaneously, as opposed to a 3-5 second input lag on everything.
- Comment on Is it normal for high sugar contents like in cake icing to make my uvula tickle? 1 month ago:
I don’t know if it’s normal, but I have something similar where if I eat a lot of chocolate at once my temples start to tingle. It’s been that way for as long as I can remember and I’m not allergic since I was tested for that.
- Comment on Why there is no photos of earth from space? 1 month ago:
There have been photos of Earth from space since 1946. There’s a Japanese geostationary satellite named Himawari-8 which takes a photo of the Earth every ten minutes.
The Earth isn’t flat and even the ancient Greeks proved it to be spherical. Some people don’t want to understand physics, and they feel fulfilled by thinking they’re “in the know” about something secret.
- Comment on How do I stop laughing at stupid shit all the time 1 month ago:
I still laugh at that stupid asterisk chair meme and I have no shame so you’re good haha. Just enjoy it!
- Comment on THE EARTH IS SPHERICAL, DIPSHITS 1 month ago:
I remember figuring out on my own that the Earth is spherical when I was 6 years old and I witnessed big ships disappearing from the bottom up over the horizon.

Just last week, my friend was eaten by a wild New Yorker. Rest in peace Sam Widge…

Fake. If that was me, those baguettes would be gone within 0.3 nanoseconds.
- Comment on Size of an adult Moose. And they are not as friendly as Bullwinkle 2 months ago:
A lot of people don’t realize just how huge moose are. I learned that the hard way when mine got far too big for me to mount so I could ride it everywhere.
- Comment on Speaking honestly, what has to happen for you personally to take to the street in protest of the current administration. 2 months ago:
If Trump starts invading my country, I’ll happily not only take to the streets, but I’ll sign up for military training and defend it.
- Comment on eggs in japan 2 months ago:
Now I’m really craving some boiled eggs… Fortunately they’re worth around $3 USD here for a dozen!
- Comment on The one drawback to walking at night 2 months ago:
As a girl, I love taking walks in the evening/night or early in the morning, they really are a vibe! However if there’s a man who appears to be following behind me, I always grab my keys in my pocket to be ready to fight in case he tries anything. I will also text friends/family when I’m going out and text them when I arrive back home.
- Comment on What is something that keeps you up at night? 2 months ago:
My friends. I seem to have this weird ability where if I start talking to someone, time will go by really fast and then we suddenly realize it’s some ungodly hour of the morning.
- Comment on Solarpunk AF 2 months ago:
I heard they have really good cell reception.
- Comment on How are you actually doing today? 2 months ago:
Sorry about your day. Hope your mom feels better soon and today/tomorrow is much better!
- Comment on How are you actually doing today? 2 months ago:
I’m so sorry about your cat! hugs if you need someone to talk to I’m here! Pets can be our best friends and losing a best friend can be such a difficult thing to go through. In those 11 years I’m sure you gave her the best life she could, and she appreciates that dearly. Be sure to give yourself time!
