    SearXNG is pretty nice, you can also configure which engines it uses if you don’t like the results. I host a small instance at search.gregtech.eu.

    It actually harms Google a little in regards to trademark if it becomes a common verb.

    Same thing nearly happened to Xerox, people used Xerox to mean “make a copy” so much they nearly lost the trademark to it
