  I’m convinced they do this shit on purpose - it riles up the base and it distracts the rest of us. While we’re debating each other about whether this is a nazi solute we’re not talking about the dozens of consequential things they did yesterday.

      I think it’s worth being compassionate with people who try to rationalize it because I found myself doing so from the shell shock of the whole thing. I just didn’t want to believe it.

    Is there a debate?

    I showed the video to a random person that had not much idea of any of this, we are not even American so they didn’t know that there was an inauguration or anything. I said nothing, just: “see this video and tell me what you think”.

    The answer was: “did he just do the nazi salute?”

  I feel like the Nazi angle range is a bit too wide, lol. Look at the top end of the red, that’s definitely still in the range of calling a waiter or flagging down a cab.

    Id agree if the dude literally didnt do it twice on video, make nazi imagery and calls to genocide okay on his platform, while supporting nazi parties in europe AND while his best pal of the week LITERALLY pardons violent criminals cause they have swastika tatoos.
