I had a dream last night about water some sort of edible plant and it was starting to wilt by the end of the dream.
I remember also eating one leaf or stem or something and it was the most flavourful delicious thing Iâve ever eaten.
Being awake now and it being a vegetable I know thatâs a lie.
Iâm trying to fit gym, tennis, swimming and other sports into my calendar and itâs lookin a real busy. I want to gym 3x minimum but this is what Iâm mostly struggling with. Maybe I could combine swimming and gym on Thursday and squeeze in a rest day on Wednesday? idk

Making glacial progress on the readings⌠feeling very easily distracted⌠I technically have a sickie to last me from today to Wednesday (more for uni purposes), but Iâd feel bad taking time off work and creating more work for my colleagues, when Iâm actually well enough to work, after being sick for 2 weeks last month.
Maybe I could use it for Wednesday. Or at least ask to work from home on Wednesday. Time is crucial, this thing is due next Sunday and I want to finish a draft by this Friday. (I have also applied for an extension, but I refuse to let this drag - plus there are time sensitive components that need to get into motion soon)
Trainer at my gym has been giving pre-workout to people in resealable bags to try. She really talked it up, so I am her next âcustomerâ.
Binged through all of Fake on Saturday night. Man, it was compelling, almost like an Aussie Baby Reindeer. So many things that were infuriating in how people were acting.
Also watched The Instigators with Matt Damon and Casey Affleck. Story isnât all that flash, but I thought it was hilarious. The banter between characters gave me a good laugh most of the time.
The other night I thought âI wonder when Madame Web comes out online, Iâm curious to see how bad it isâ and then found out that it had been out for a while, I just somehow missed it. Odd considering how often I check recent releases.
Anyway I tried to watch it and I made it maybe 10 minutes in before I couldnât take it anymore. They were not kidding about it being bad. It has some of the worst acting Iâve seen since The Room, and Iâve seen Morbius.
Iâm a big superhero movie/content fan but this will just be one of the very rare superhero things Iâll never watch.
then i can guarantee my husband will put it on the telly, he has a knack of choosing bad shows
You should go watch the Borderlands movie in theatres. Apparently youâll have the whole place to yourself

I checked Metacritic for that one to see what people are saying. Iâve never played the game so I wouldnât be offended by any butchering the IP but apparently itâs just bad. I think Iâll wait for it to be on Netflix or Prime or whatever.
Playing an old LP I found of Adrian Boult conducting Vaughn Williams/Tallis. This is a much more orchestral version than Neville Mariner.

That classic balancing act of whether to take the kids to childcare and risk getting a call to come pick them up, or have them stay home and deal with them the whole time.
My boy is in better spirits now the rest of the family is up, so Iâll take my chances taking them in
