With the sad news about Richard Simmons passing away, I wanted to share with you one of my favorite moments of him, when he guest stared on Who's Line Is It Anyway back in 2003.

  People mercilessly made fun of him back in the day. It was too bad because he always seemed like he was genuinely excited to be alive. We need more of that energy.

    I’m remembering him on the Carson show. Only a few people ever get the best of Carson, Richard Simmons did it almost every time.

  Thanks for sharing, he was talked about a lot when I was a kid but I never really understood why so much. Watching this I can’t help wonder if it was because he made homophobes uncomfortable (not that he was openly gay)
