Pretty birds but I feel like the photos exaggerate the colors a bit. An Indigo bunting is probably more striking in person.

Indigo buntings are pretty cool. But this little guy in my favourite.

Can’t go wrong with a resplendent quetzal either.

They look like inverted colours or something. Is this how they actually look? It’s magnificent!

It’s been photographed in extremely favorable lighting conditions with a telephoto lens and a high-speed digital camera. Also, the image’s color levels have been tweaked to make the colors more vibrant and to increase the contrast. The bird would probably not look like that to the naked eye.

that’s not a bird, that’s a blue razberry snow cone with 2 jelly beans for eyes

It looks like they used the negative color tool.

The bird in the image looks like something you’d see in one of those “X theme song horror (G minor)” videos on yt. The ones where they invert all the colors and pretend they created something scary.

Not only do they look pretty, they sing pretty too. I did a lot of tree planting in my twenties and these beauties would sometimes appear to hang out and sing with me while I worked.

That almost looks like an inverted image!

Will also accept being turned into land critters. Just as long as they are mountain dwellers.

This bird deals frost damage, and you can’t convince me otherwise.
lightrush@lemmy.ca 1 year ago
It can’t because birds are not real.
