  Just casually browsing here from the Northern hemisphere, I’ve never been to Australia. Enjoy the warm summer weather, I just had to deal with frozen car windows.

  To the point: What the hell is a goon bag and where do I get one? A pina colada goon bag sounds absolutely delicious.

    Goon bag = box wine. An inflatable foil sack that makes a handy pillow if you drink the whole thing and retain enough dexterity to blow it up. 😺

    A goon bag is box wine, generally speaking, very cheap and easy. So you get a box of wine, and in the box is a bag of the wine itself. A goon bag is that bag of wine. A pina colada goon bag, is the same but instead of wine, it’s a premixed pina colada 😂 I buy it from Aldi when they have them, they also have a Mojito one I want to try.

    During house parties, the goon bag gets pegged to the washing line (usually a hills hoist), and everyone can get some from there 😂 it’s very Aussie to have a goon bag pegged to the hills hoist

      Damn, you guys have invented a whole new way of drinking out there with the washing line and pegs lol

      I haven’t noticed boxed premix cocktails here, just wine mostly, would love to start my own business making them, buuuuuuuut I imagine there’s a whole crapload of legislation around producing and selling alcoholic drinks that would make this prohibitively expensive to get started.

        Not every place has them here, so I get them from Aldi when they have them, because Aldi is awesome for getting munted on a budget lol. Cheap wine, cheap German beer, cheap goon. Bless Aldi.

        If you could get around the legislation, I reckon you’d be in for real nice profits!

      Expansion. A variety of unlabled goon bags pegged on the clothes hoist. By whatever means of choice it is spun and you drink from what stops in front of you. “Wheel of Goon”

      Aldi mojito goon is pretty great, they had it just recently. I haven’t tried their pina colada but I would be keen, I’ll keep an eye out for it!

    As someone who grew up in the northern hemisphere, it’s weird it being so hot this time of year even after a decade of living here I can’t get used to it. So enjoy your frozen windows!

  Put it in the sink full of water with the nozzle facing down. Once the water gets freezing re do it. Repeat if necessary.

      Yeah if you put it in the fridge you’ll be waiting 3 days. Try to defrost the nozzle first. That’s the important part.

  Make a punch bowl. Use goon bag to cool punch bowl until it is drunken. Pour thawed goon out into bowl and drink more
