  Nah seriously, horses for courses. I love a lie in, but then I enjoy making the most of a city I’ll probably never see again. So long as people head home enriched and happier, it’s a good holiday.

    Because the best parts of being on vacation are seeing the local sights and culture, and eating good food. Sleeping in and then having free hotel breakfast at 11am seems like a waste to me. Go out for brunch, dog, you’re on vacation.

      Nah. We sleep in and then stay up late as hell in the pool and going out for snacks in whatever downtown area we’re in. Not everyone has to do it like you.

  Because work life sometimes demands getting up very early against your will and sensibilities, and the act of sleeping in is freedom from that.

  But I suspect that you already understand that, and just wanted to insert yourself to be difficult.
