Comment on Mojang reveals The Sift as the first new Minecraft dimension in 14 years

WITHOUT SPOILERS PLS;

I like to play minecraft without the wiki or looking up game mechanics. Is there any reasonable way I could organically encounter this dimension within normal gameplay? Or should I look up how it works?

I feel the advancement tab is decent for finding stuff without leaving the game. It’s still looking up hints, just ingame. I’d love for them to add readable books in ancient ruins to give you hints instead. Idk how they’ll give hints for this tho

  I dunno, my 35 year old sister in law just started playing she still hasn’t discovered that the nether exists, and hasn’t done any enchanting after 3 weeks. Some lore or even a handbook would probably help a lot.

    I played it for even longer and still don’t know how to enter the nether. I want to find it out by myself but there don’t seem to be a lot of clues

It’ll show up in Minecraft Dungeons 2. The dimension itself won’t come out in Minecraft until next year.

  That appears to just be a mod. The actual dimension has yet to be shown off outside of the promo artwork, and it’s not present in the most recent snapshot.
