That’s what I was thinking. Makes the rice look huge.

The scale of the wood grain looks odd for that to be a normal grain of rice

Just imagining sinking my teeth into a giant rice.
kryptonianCodeMonkey@lemmy.world 2 weeks ago
The best part of rice is eating a thousand of something. Leave my rice mini.
HerbGrower@slrpnk.net 2 weeks ago
Yeah, but just once getting to try a giant one is something I would love to try.

And I’m pretty sure the smallest chip in history has more than 16 leads, and would not be visible without a microscope
glibg10b@lemmy.zip 2 weeks ago
The smallest microcontroller definitely has fewer than 16 pads (not leads because they don’t make sense at this scale
HeyThisIsntTheYMCA@lemmy.world 2 weeks ago
Wood doesn’t have scale it’s not a fish
marcos@lemmy.world 2 weeks ago
It looks quite right for the integrated circuit that is labeled as a “chip”.

Slop. The answer is AI slop.
restingOface@quokk.au 2 weeks ago
I think you are right. Seems like a sloppified recreation of this classic

What is it with the wave of sloppified memes, that are just worse than the original? What is their point?
cloudshouter@lemmy.zip 2 weeks ago
Everything has to be run through Ai. Just because. Shuuush. Soon we will forget about all that “human made” content and bathe in the glorious future of technology.
lavander@lemmy.dbzer0.com 2 weeks ago
Sometimes it’s easier to ask ai to recreate something you remember rather than finding the original one and reposting it 🤷♂️

It bypasses repost detectors

Agreed. I’ve never seen an IC with two indentations.
vaionko@sopuli.xyz 2 weeks ago
PLCCs like that do often have two indentations, on opposite corners due to the molding process. Doesn’t make this any less slop though.

modus@lemmy.world 2 weeks ago
Are the indentations just for orientation during soldering?
Someonelol@lemmy.dbzer0.com 2 weeks ago
Yeah. 1 makes sense, 2 can be confusing and ruin your placements.
