Scaling that down by a factor of 50,000, it’s like having a net worth of $5.52 million, and a boat worth $10,000. You spent $1,100 on your wedding and bought your wife a ring worth $100.

Just putting it at a level that we could relate to, like someone who is comfortably wealthy but not insanely wealthy. What we see as ludicrous extravagance is cheap and trivial to someone like Bezos.
