I miss practical effects. They are just so much more raw. The highly polished CGI that is everything these days is just visually boring to look at. I am not interested in the next flashy gimmick, anything that you can dream up is now possible to show on screen, so the fast paced stupid action doesn’t hit home at all anymore.

Yes this movie had CG. My point was about how the explosion itself, very specifically that explosion, was practical effects and how good it looked.
