    What did they mess up? Seems like a reasonable max combining life span of sperm with ovulation period (you said the math is bad and not the biology)

        You can get pregnant the day after ovulation.

        Also, since there seems to be a lack of basic reproductive knowledge here, identical twins come from one egg, fraternal twins come from two eggs, which can occasionally drop on different days, further extending the fertile window.

        Guy number 1 blows a load 5 days before day one of ovulation and guy two blows a load 48 hours later (tail end of the period)
