  No, I’m with them. It’s weird to clap. Nobody who had a hand in your safe landing can hear you. The pilots can’t really hear much from the passengers in most aircraft, and are likely focusing on tons of other things.

    The stewards will hear it, and they could relay whether the passengers clapped or not to the pilots. It is still a form of feedback that may arrive to where it needs to be
