  I don’t think that the water is sterile but it’s clean enough. Water in pipes stays clean as long as it doesn’t sit stagnant for to long. I think this happens most often when there’s a pipe that doesn’t go anywhere that allows water to just sit.

  Late last week I advised my younger coworkers that if we got freezing rain as predicted they needed to just stay home and that they would likely be stuck there for a couple of days. No one here knows how to drive on ice but think their lifted 4x4 truck with bald all weather tires will give them the edge they need. The cities, parishes, and state don’t have the resources to deal with it either.

  One of them (from Alaska) decided to take a 2.5 hour trip to buy a jetski after work on Friday. They’re almost home after leaving Saturday morning to get home.

  Jay already tried. It was bigger, didn’t have the custom OS, and cost $1700. He could have done better except he was part limited to what rhe Microcenter he was at had on hand. Doing a bunch or research and getting different parts would probably bring down the price.

  The DMV near me was horrid (three or four hour waits just to be told I’m missing a random, but critical, document and will have to try again) until they started doing appointments. Now I talk to a person within minutes of my appointment time. No haste, no fuss, in and out. 11/10 - Will DMV again.
