I have used “#@%!!” Before like some comics do while playing a moba.
I want to express some frustration but also signal to not take it too seriously. Its just a game, i am not actually mad. If a game makes you mad you should stop playing.
Kids might also be playing the same game and while i am not afraid to “hurt” them with swears i do thing it helps create a more friendly atmosphere not to start “flaming” every time things don’t go as hoped.
I also thinks its just way more funny and there is some creativity in making the different symbols look good as a set.
But it does entice people to act surprised and ask “if i am too young to swear” or something. Do they prefer if i was actually mad and cursing? Do they think some actual mad child is going out their way to censor themselves in the heat of moment?

You do not have to censor profanity on tiktok. At most, it will prevent your video from getting promoted, but even for this the evidence is shaky at best, but it certainly will not ding your account in any way nor will stifled the video from any of your friends or followers.

Right right, i’ve never used it so i only heard this second hand from content crestors explaining why they use the silly tiktok lingo. My mistake

Yes, the belief in this is pervasive, but it’s unfounded. Just trying to do my part to be the counter-message ✌
