The new Superman movie has a side plot about Superman and Lois disagreeing on the meaning of “punk rock”. Lois thinks it’s about questioning everything, telling truth to power, getting angry. Clark thinks in our modern political climate, being kind and hopeful and loving is “the real punk rock”. Clark’s musical tastes are still pretty normie tho

Clark? Like Clark Kent? I thought we were talking about Superman, not a random journalist.

I don’t get people who confuse them, Kent clearly wears glasses.

That journalist plays a role in the Superman movie.
What exactly I do not know.

Lois makes sense when it comes to government/ corporations, Clark makes sense when it comes to other individual humans.

In the newest Superman movie he and Lois go to his family home. He has punk band posters that she claims are normie or poser or something. The following scene comes later: youtube.com/shorts/2LivEfhnW9k

In the movie Lois mocks him for being a goody two shoes who listens to bad pseudo punk. He thinks he’s cool, but he’s actually a huge dork, but he means well.

That’s how he should be too
